10,000 Reasons
Bless the Lord, Oh my soul
Oh my soul, worship his holy name
Sing like never before, Oh my soul
I'll worship your holy name
The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning
It's time to sing your song again
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes
You're rich in love and You're slow to anger
Your name is great and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness, I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find
And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years and then forevermore
Forevermore
My Redeemer Lives
For I know my redeemer lives
And in the end
He will stand on the earth
For I know my redeemer lives
And in the end
He will reign on the earth
Though my flesh it be destroyed
Yet with my eyes I will see God
For I know my redeemer lives
And I will stand with Him on that day
For I know my redeemer lives
And I will stand with Him on that day
Oh my heart it yearns within me
For the day when Jesus returns
Oh my heart it yearns within me
For the day when Jesus shall reign

Easter Story part #1
Luke 24:1-12
“Why do you seek the living among the dead?
He is not here, but has risen.
Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”
(Verses 5-7)
Meditation ~ Pastor Nelson
It Happened like He said it would.

Easter Proclamation
Pastor: Praise the Lord! Christ is risen!
All: He is risen indeed!
Pastor: For us the stone has been rolled away.
All: Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Pastor: Christ has been raised from death to new life.
All: Christ is risen indeed!
IN CHRIST ALONE
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light my strength my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought
and storm
What heights of love,
what depths of peace
When fears are stilled when
strivings cease!
My Comforter my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone! - who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe!
This Gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
Till on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied -
For every sin on Him was laid:
Here in the death of Christ I live
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine -
Bought with the precious blood of Christ
No guilt in life no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till he returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand!
(Please be seated)
Easter Story part #2
Luke 24:13-27
“But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel.
Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.”
(Verses 21)
Meditation ~ Pastor Nelson
God IS with us.
You Are My King
I'm forgiven because you were forsaken
I'm accepted, You were condemned
I'm alive and well
Your spirit is within me
Because you died and rose again
You are my king
You are my king
Jesus, You are my king
Jesus, You are my king
Amazing love, how can it be?
That you, my king. would die for me
Amazing love, I know it's true
Its my joy to honor you
Amazing love how can it be?
That my king would die for me
Amazing love I know it's true
Its my joy to honor you
In all I do
I honor you
Easter Story part #3
Luke 24:28-35

Easter Story part #4
Luke 24:36-49
“As they were talking about these things,
Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, 'Peace to you!’”
…and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” (Verse 36 & 47)
Meditation ~ Pastor Nelson
Peace with God, others… and yourself.
Because He Lives
(Please stand)
God sent his son
They called him Jesus
He came to love,
heal and forgive
He bled and died
To buy my pardon
An empty grave is there
to prove my Savior lives
Chorus:
Because he lives
I can face tomorrow
Because he lives
All fear is gone
Because I know he holds the future
My life is worth the living
just because he lives
How sweet to hold
A new born baby
And feel the pride
And joy he gives
But better still
The calm assurance
That child can face uncertain
days because he lives
And then one day
I'll cross the river
I'll fight life's final war with pain
And then as death
Gives way to victory
I'll see the lights of glory
and I'll know he lives
Benediction ~ The Greatest Blessing
(Please read aloud together)
And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.
While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
and were continually in the temple blessing God.
